This is a terrific message, Dan. So simple but so real and deep. The hymns were so on point and beautifully worshipful. May we take it all to heart and continue to love one another well while we serve Him.

Thanks Pastor Dan for your encouraging words on contending with our giants both real and imagined and the necessity of fearing the Lord. As a side bar on David it is often pointed out that he selected 5 smooth stones in his confrontation with the giant Goliath. As he only needed 1 stone he may have had the giant's 4 sons/brothers in mind who if they were present didn't stick around after Goliath's demise. I suppose we could say that David saw the "bigger picture" but was undaunted and was consumed with defending the honour of the Living God. Leave a Reply. |
